Cat getting ill after 2 days post op neuter

What would make a cat throw up 2 days after getting neutered? The cat was taken to the vet tests were done blood was drawn and temp was normall.. the cat is a long haired cat any suggestions or recomendations..

Glad to hear your cat is better.. Just so you know, anathetic can stay in the animal system for about 48hrs after the op, depending on what anathetic they use of course! and did you starve him/her before having surgery? they say you must starve them to prevent choking under sedation, anyway... because they've been starved for hours.. their digestive system takes time to get back to normal, and if you fed him/her usual cat food, it may have been "too heavy" of a food for him at that time... boild chicken or some bland food is always good after surgery... just incase you need advice for next time!
also you say he's long hair cat? could of been hair balls.
