Totally awesome, pro-shelter movie

We just finished watching the movie "In Her Shoes". When I rented it, I had NO IDEA that there were going to be dogs in it but best of all they totally promote adopting dogs from shelters.

The main dog character, "Honey Bun" was adopted from a shelter, and they explained how they sought from many shelters looking for the right pup. And in the special features, they explain how after movies people tend to go to pet shops to buy that breed of dog, but they wanted a mutt so that people would go look in a shelter! I think that is so cool!

Besides the doggy part of the movie, I really enjoyed the whole thing. This is the best movie that I have watched in a very long time!!!

That is so neat. I haven't heard about it yet? was it on
a dvd? I think more movies should work in a plug for Shelter dogs.
