    Jenna

Jenna had not eaten much of anything for 3 weeks. She lost half her body weight. She was still alert and so loving. I made the decision to put her down when Blood test showed kidney failure and she was shaking awful.
She was my baby even thou she was 14. We put her down Feb 13.
With the injection she gave out a horrible cry. This will always haunt me. Is this normal? (the vet told me it was the only way to go.) Did he not know what he was doing.........................

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious Jenna. Just remember you did the very best thing you could do for her, the ultimate act of love-letting go.

Jenna is now with the angels at Rainbow Bridge--pain-free, and playing happily. How the angels must be rejoicing to welcome her. She will be waiting to see you again.

    Rest well, precious Jenna.

    (((((( hugs ))))))
I had to put down my 17 year old cat about 8 weeks ago. It's such a hard decision, but you did the right thing. Jenna's romping around over the bridge, out of pain forever.

I'm very sorry to hear about Jenna, I know how hard it is to have one put down.
Maybe she was in such pain that the injection hurt? Try not to let it bother you (I know, easier said than done) because now she is free of pain and in a new body and I'm sure is playing in the fields of the Rainbow Bridge with all our pets that have passed before.

    Hugs
