Isn't it nice when people compliment your dog on his/her behaviour?

I was out with young Tobey yesterday and made him sit while two couples walked by (what they don't know is that he would've jumped up at them given the chance!) and they all commented on what a well trained and "polite" young man he was So proud of my boy

Yay Tobey what a good boy you are! I too love it when my pets are complimented on behavior (although that doesn't happen too often! )

It is a good feeling- usually when one of my dogs is complimented, though, they do something naughty! Like, one time when Marta was under 1 year old we were sitting at a restaurant (outdoors) and someone commented how quiet and nice she was being. Of course, a few minutes later she starts barking and acting up.

I love it when my pets' behavior gets complimented...Star is very polite on leash and doesn't let other dogs phase her - it's always interesting when she's calmly walking by another dog that's straining at the leash barking at her.
