Winter Scenes

Jazzcat asked for some pictures of winter from Anchorage, Alaska in this thread. So, here they are for your enjoyment.

And, to make this pet related, here's Pepper being "helpful" as usual. When I opened the window to take photos (because it's too darn cold to go outside!), Pepper leaped to the top of the second-story window and attempted yet another of her death-defying acts of balance. Since I already had the camera in my hands, I quickly snapped the picture then ran for a ladder to pull her down. She's now sulking and pouting since I ruined her fun and I'm looking for bandaids.

Yes, those are some breath taking pictures! Almost makes me wish I could be there.... (NOT!! All you would hear would me be complaining about how cold I was.....)

Right at this moment it has warmed up to 0 degrees. It was -12 the other night. Zero doesn't feel that much warmer.
