    Quick update

Just got the call that SIL Pauline is out of surgery & so far so good. The transplanted organs began functioning as soon as they were in place. Thanks you for they prayers, and please hold her in the thought that perfect healing will take place!

That's amazing news Pat, Pauline and the family continue in my prayers, as well as the donor's family. What an amazing thing that a donor can give life to another person. Every time I hear or read about it, even in typing a medical report for my job, it seems so miraculous.

Melissa has been released from the hospital, her MRI and other tests were normal. It was determined she did indeed overload on fluids. The thing about it that upsets the family is originally after she felt sick and they took her to the Medic tent, they just assumed she wasn't feeling well because she hadn't been getting enough fluids, and so they pushed her to drink MORE until she had a seizure and went into a comatose type state. They could very well have caused her death by what they did. Water toxicity is nothing to fool around with. Thank God she made it through.

I'm saying a prayer now for all those in need who have posted all those who have not, who are suffering in any way.

    Prayers, please:

For Scotty, a friend who was waiting to even get ON a liver transplant list...died in his bed several days ago age 50.

Prayers for his friends, and my friend Irene who knew his well and is distraught.

Prayers that Scotty's parents will at least fly out for a service...they aren't coming out here even though he died.

Next - for Roland, so close to having a 10 year dream come true, and wandering around unmotivated as decisions are in other hands, but his is key to making this happen...prayers for him in his confusion and fear.

And...for Ernest and Lynn, who when the doctors could do nothing, researched and did their own treatment for Lynn's liver cancer. It was in remission for a bit. Now she has a surgical tube so her stomach can get food and her liver can drain properly. She is lovely and vibrant and 56, and has a few months.

    Thank you.

Saying prayers for all our needs.
Catty, prayers for all your friends, I hope Lynn's condition improves. And condolences over Scotty, may he rest in peace. Even if his parents don't make it out, it sounds like he will have a wonderful group of friends celebrate his life. Prayers that earnest can see the light in the darkness and find his way out of confusion & fear.

    Short update to answered prayer-
Pauline continues to improve daily. Her "new" liver is functioning well, and her kidneys continue to improve. She's still in Intensive Care, my brother is still at her side. Thanks for continued prayers for healing.
