    I have two today.

First- kind of going back to #2383-- one of the senior partners at my brother's workplace is in the hospital; he has been receiving cancer treatment and got an infection because his immune system is so depleted from the treatment. My brother is not happy at his job, but it's close to home and he's good at what he does, so he is trying to keep positive about it.

Second- My sister-in-law's father has dementia. Over the summer he moved from his home into a long-term care facility because he has had some periods where he gets agitated and angry in addition to being confused. My sister-in-law and her brother are responsible for his care and I know that's not easy, because they both have jobs and families of their own. So just a word of prayer for both my brother and sister-in-law, and also the senior partner.

    Thank you so much!
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

Update. My sister-in-law's father passed away early this morning. He had not been eating at all and was more confused.

I'm asking for prayers for my friend Gwen. Yesterday at work we got an e-mail telling us her 21 year old daughter passed away. Today we learned her daughter was found in her car having been shot in her face. As a parent I can't begin to imagine what Gwen must be going through because of this horrible situation.

Oh how awful! I'm so sorry for your friend. Of course, prayers are going up right now.
    Blessings,

Prayers and positive thoughts are going out to everyone in need.

I also need some prayers and positive vibes. I'll be having some minor surgery this Fri. morning on my left eye. My tear duct is blocked and this will now be the second time that this has happened. I had a similar surgery almost 10 years ago. This time I have an eye specialist doing the surgery and he'll put a stent in the corner of my left eye which I'll have to keep in place for at least 3 months. This is an outpatient surgery but I do have to be under anesthesia. I will then be off the whole next week recovering and will go back for my post-op appt. on 11-11-11 to have my stitches taken out. I just hope that everything goes smoothly and I won't ever need this type of surgery again. Thanks in advance.

Everyone is in my thoughts that needs them. I am very shaken right now.
First to update a litte on Mike, my friends BIL, he is improving each day and doing it faster than anyone expected.

On another note...our good friend suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm this past Tuesday. She spent 12 hours in surgery and they felt that wasn't going to do it. She more minor surgery done and is sedated and restrained because she becomes agitated. She is not very responsive right now and has a long road to recovery. Months. And even with that they are not sure how her mental capacity will be.

Meredith is such a sweet caring person. It is breaking my heart that this is happening to her. And her husband, Randy, is like a big old teddy bear. These two work with Bruce and the non-profit organization Guitars Not Guns.

I would like to ask my PT family if you could say a prayer or do whatever it is you do for this family. They have two adult daughters as well.

    Thank you.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
