    Prayers for you all.

I'd like to ask for a few for the quick healing of my leg.

We're visiting my Papa in a bit - I'll be equiped with the chocolate chip cookies he requested.

I appreciate everyone thinking of us.

The visit went well with my Papa.

He is VERY emotional. VERY. My dad says he thinks he's getting worse. I wouldn't know, but my dad has seen him this way more than I have so he would.

He enjoyed and ate 2 cookies and a brownie while we were there (I made him some truffle brownies, too.) We went outside and sat on one of the tables in the courtyard. There's an aviary out there, too.

He seems to be making friends there. But he also kept saying how he wanted to come home. He'd go on about how he loves my grandmother and then start crying saying that he's sorry he's put her through this (his breakdowns.) We tried comforting him and telling him that she understands and loves him too, or else she wouldn't have stuck by him for so long.

Right now, it's not looking too well. I don't know if he'll ever be able to return home.

    Sorry for yacking on.

I wanted to get others opinions on this..
I was thinking of making a collage of photos - of my grandmother, us, his dogs, etc. and giving it to him the next time I see him. My dad thinks this may make him too emotional. I'm sort of leaning that way, too, but at the same time I want him to know that we all love him and want him to get better.

I don't know... what do you think?

I think collage is always a wonderful idea, a really great reminder of how many beloved people are around him when he is alone in the hospital. getting emotional could be a joy?

more prayers out to everyone requested.

update on the kids, they all are gone now - back to their grandmother and father. not that I mind, but back to my (and resting) schedule is nice too! having five kids and all furkids altogether was an interesting experience. also werid to see no kids here anymore. I love kids though.

the fathers will be out of jail on august 28th, at the end of their parole. I hope that means the girls will never have to leave their fathers again! and wish them living happily after.

I'll be remaining the little girls' fathers and the mother in my prayers and thanks everyone who said a prayer for us.

be thinking of each of you..

My friend's mother is in the hospital with leukemia. She was originally given an excellent prognosis, but has gone downhill recently. She now is waiting on a bone marrow transplant which will probably not buy her much time. There is a *small* chance she'll be OK after the transplant, but odds are she's just putting off the inevitable.

She is the sweetest lady anyone could ever meet. When my friend knew someone in high school who wound up homeless due to an abusive parent, this lady took the kid in and adopted him. That's just the type of person she is, she is absolutely amazing.

Vibes that this transplant is successful, the world needs loving people like her in it.

    Thank you Wolf_Q!

kay, i say make it, and then consult with his doctors and nurses before you give it to him. if they think it'll be too hard for him, they will tell you so.
