My New Betta

On Monday I went to petsmart and as usual I stopped to look at the bettas. I finally found the perfect one. He just looked so cute flaring at all the other bettas around him so I had to bring him home.

Today I came home and he had built a bubble nest!

I wish I could get a better picture of him, but this gives you an idea. I still don't have a name for him but I'm sure I'll think of something.

Thanks! He's really not black though he just looks darker in the picture. He's more of a deep purple. This picture is blurry but it shows what a nice flare he has.

Really? All the betta's at my petsmart are gorgeous and active. I got my two at petsmart. But anyways back to the topic of your beautiful betta!!! I just love his teal and yes he looks more purple then black!

I think it really depends on each store. Some stores take great care of their fish and others don't. The store next to me always has really nice and healthy looking fish. They almost always have someone in the fish department working when I go in. In fact it's pretty rare that I go in and someone isn't there (the fish person might be on their break).

Thanks! No name for him yet, but I'm sure I will think of something soon. I'm always a bit slow to come up with names.
