not sure where to go for information, but would like to know if anyone knows of volunteers willing to create a transportation link so that a dog from ohio can be brought to a new family in maine. it is a sweet 1yr old boxer mix named Pib. he was rescued from a kill shelter by a woman who cannot provide the proper exercise the young dog needs so will give him to us if we can find a way to get him- ive researched pet transport services but some are like $670. is there a cheap or free way to ship a dog, maybe truckdrivers heading the same way???? we'd be able to travel as far as massachessettes or new hampshire ourselves....
advice?
