I am very much a 'live and let live' type of person, so if the woman is happy then I have no problem with it. I think it's sweet that she loves the dolphin so much, however I do find it all rather pointless as the 'wedding' isn't legally recognised.

Seems like a waste of money ... if she really feels this much emotion for the dolphin, maybe she could show it by donating to a marine charity that would benefit him and his species, rather than spending the money on a wedding dress ...

Sounds a bit fishy to me.

Heh heh... maybe I'll forward this to the sisters and my mom who keep asking when I am getting married, and just roll their eyes when I tell them I'll probably just marry one of my snakes or my next beagle instead. It'll give them a good scare .

I heard there was smoked salmon at the wedding breakfast and the honeymoon was spent lounging around the pool at a hotel at Mackerel Beach just north of Sydney Australia. But it could just be a rumour, like the one about them setting up home at Poole in Dorset in the UK. Probably just rumours

It sounds like she has a few loose screws. She's filthy rich too. I agree that spending her money on preservation of marine mammals makes more sense. Oh well....

If she doesn't love in in the way that "you love a man" and is leaving the option to marry a man later on in life open, then WHY is she calling it marriage??

Yes I agree she has MORE than a couple of screws loose..

Tee hee hee.... Is anyone else thinking of that "South Park" episode in which Stan had to take refuge at a PETA encampment?

Me, I'm thinking of a letter to the alternate newspaper in Philadelphia where I used to review theater. The writer said, and I quote, "If animals have the same rights as people, does that mean we can f*** them? There's this really cute cocker spaniel on my block, and I think the feeling is mutual."

(The editor's note responded, "Only if she is of age and you have her full consent.")
