    IMOM helping pets - Update

IMOM http://www.imom.org/ is a wonderful organization that you can turn to if you are in need of emergency treatment for a pet. They are handling some cases now that you might be interested in following.

Angel Czarnecki - Stray dog hit by a car 12/13/05 Angel had surgery and has come through just fine. http://p088.ezboard.com/fimomcommuni...icID=835.topic

Onyx Thomas - Dog with dislocated hip http://p088.ezboard.com/fimomcommuni...icID=833.topic

Sascha Vencilll - Cocker that needs bilateral ear ablation (We've raised enough to have surgery on one year -- she came through it great!) http://p088.ezboard.com/fimomcommuni...icID=827.topic

Spaz - Kitty with urinary blockage 12/13/05 Spaz's surgery went well. Now it's just wait and see. http://p088.ezboard.com/fimomcommuni...icID=207.topic

Thanks very much for that! IMOM is a fabulous organization, doing so much good for those animals and familes in need! Occasionally we get people posting here, asking for assistance with an ailing pup/limited finances and I always refer them there! Off to read the updates!

I am sorry to tell you that Two Boots is at the rainbow bridge now. She was FeLV positive. The x-rays of her broken leg are so awful that they considered amputation but when the found out she was positive, she was euthanized. That poor girl. Her folks just turned over over to the vet and walked away. The vet was the one trying to raise the funds to get her leg fixed.

Brocchus is doing well. He is very comfortable. The surgery went well. He was a little groggy when we got him back after having spent a few days in the hospital, but now he is a lot more alert and of course is in good spirits...as usual. He has to go back on thursday for a follow up. I'll keep you all posted!!

Any orangie kitty lovers out there? Ramses needs our help.
Diagnosis: Rameses has been treated for urethral blockage twice in the last month. He has a very narrow urethra and needs a perineal urethrostomy to prevent further blockage.

You can follow his progress and read updates from his family on the iMOM link above.
    Thank you.
