Well, this time last year I was up in Ohio.
Here's that thread:

On the morning of the 12th, I started heading north on I95 and Donna(moosmom) started heading south. It was a cold, drizzly and rainy day. I was hoping to get to talk to Donna a bit before I left but the weather just wasn't permitting. So, I took a pic of Donna's last hug with Doogie and then put him in my carrier.
Duke was very curious of what was in that carrier and every once in a while, we'd hear a meow and I'd tell Doogie that it was alright. We got to Tennessee to the motel and this is one of the first pics I took of Doogie. It's still one of my favorites even now.
Here they are getting acquainted. There was never any squablle at all, even a little one. They are so cute together. I think it's one of the sweetest things.
And here's another one of my favorites.
When I'm not at work and have a little time, I'll have to dig up some of my recent favorites. I'll include them here as another post.
So, dear Doogie, Happy Gotcha Day! You have worked your way deep into my heart. I'll even forgive you for making it look like it snowed in the bathroom. Thank goodness you don't play with the toilet paper often. Your grandmeowmie and grandpurr love you also. Grandmeowmie was the one that introduced you to your most favorite treat, Whiskas Temptations in the yellow bag. You are one spoiled kitty and we all love you dearly. I think it's so cute when you tilt your head to look at me. I love teaching you to enjoy being a lap cat. Even if it is only for as long as I'm feeding you treats. You'll come around one day. You've made me so happy to have purring in my life again.
