Leads (leashes)

Have been using a harness and extendable lead with Tobey since he was a pup but want something with a bit more control so he can be properly trained.

Currently using a half-check collar with lead that seems better but have seen a lead that keeps the dogs head up so they don't sniff the ground - does anyone know what they are called?
