hair style and color suggestions

Hey, everyone. I'm looking to color and restyle my hair hopefully in the next month. It doesn't have to be conservative, but, I don't want anything too crazy, either. No pink or purple just yet. But, what I'm hoping to do is go with a red on top and a dark brown on bottom. So when you pull half your hair back and up, the top is light and the bottom is dark...I'm thinking maybe some red or blonde highlights in the top, not sure about the bottom...what I'd like is to just get as many kinds of red as possible to pick from. I don't want to go orange or burgundy, but, everything else is pretty much ok. So, I am requesting the assistance of all the Pet Talk ladies to post photos of red heads. I'm also looking to cut my hair, but, not too short. I have it about two inches below my shoulders right now, and, I don't want to lose too much length...but, I'd like to see some styles that you guys like. Just trying to get some ideas. So, anyway, thanks ahead of time for all your help!

Hey Kari I think you would look really good with the chunky highlights. I wish I could pull those off, but only the natural looking ones look good on me. I LOVE the chunky highlights though and think they'd look really pretty on you. I'll go look for some hairstyle pics.
