Dogs come into heat about every 6 months, no matter if they are pregnant or not they would go through the same cycle. It's actually harder on them if they don't have puppies, because their uterus has to shrink down to the size it was before her last litter. But, breeding the bi*ch again would result in much less stress on her body because the uterus would not have to shrink.
Granted, the dog needs to be in top body condition before you even think about breeding 2 heats in a row.
Does that make sense? LOL.
