BTW there is a store going out of business near my house with a strong coated metal dog crate 60"*48"*48" for $56. It could fit three great danes. If I see it next time I'm over there I may just get it to keep or sell. Autumn might enjoy the luxury while it would be escape proof for her.

I was going to suggest this, too, they have some wonderful prices on there and their customer service is great.

Thanks for your help everybody. I'm looking for a metal crate for Autumn because I don't think it will be as scary for her as the plastic ones that are more closed off and dark.

I get all my crates at Walmart.
They are reasonably priced and durable.

I bought Harlee's on ebay. It is a mesh portable crate and I LOVE it!! It is so convienent...folds up really nice. She behaves really well in the crate, but mesh crates aren't good for dogs that aren't fond of being in crates, but you probably know that already.

Anyway, I think i paid like $89, brand new on ebay...and it is a large or extra large...really good price for the size and quality of it.

If that were in my neighborhood I would snatch that up in a minute. The crate I have (54"D x 45"H x 37W) was $200 - and that was at cost from our local pet store!!! It is JUST big enough for Sahara...as a matter of fact, I would like one a little longer, but I didn't know one even existed any longer.

Places constantly try to sell the 48" x 30" x 36" as appropriate sized for danes - NOT the case!!! Like I said, the 54" is a tad too small in my opinion.

Anywho - yes, hurry, go buy that crate! If it wouldn't cost a million to ship it, I would buy it in a heart-beat!
