Please keep Jes in your prayers

Please keep Jes in your prayers. She has something going on where her "sack" where she pee's. It has swelled up over the weekend about twice, maybe even three times it's size.

We will bring her into the vet either Monday or Tuesday, depending on when they can get her in...Please keep her in your prayers that everything will be all right.

Poor Jesse, I hope it's nothing serious. Is she spayed? Just wondering as I believe that area can swell up when they are in heat.

Oh My! I hope everything is alright. Keep us updated. Poor sweetie.
Amy's right about that. But I was wondering if she was over excited or romping with a male? I took Logan to meet her cousin this week, a male beagle, and from all the sniffing and running and playing, I noticed she was swollen, and she's been fixed. I knew she was Ok, no infection or anything, so I guessed she was a bit overjoyed.

    Is she spayed?
No, we are working on it. My mom and I are having a hard time agreeing with this. She is worried that it is too much after having a major surgery to amputate her leg, but it won't be..

I know that it swells, I have noticed it before, but never THIS big and it has never been tender. That is the only reason that we are worried.

Thank you everyone for keeping Jes in your thoughts.

I just got off the phone to the vet, and we have an appointment set up for tomorrow at 3:30.

I don't remember if he said that it could be endometriosis (sp?) or Pyometra. It was a weird word, and either way, she will have to be spayed.
I looked at the website for the Pyometra, she doesn't have any symptoms, no puss, she's eating the same, she is only in pain when she goes on her back, sits on it, or I try to examine it. I cannot tell if she is in pain going to the bathroom though

Oh God I hope that she will be okay. There is only one good that I can think of that will come out of this, my mom and I will quit fighting about her being spayed.

Thanks for keeping Jes in your prayers, she and I will really need them. This is a lot of emotionla distress for both of us, because she knows that something is up.

Does she smell like something awful, something dead/rotten? Especially towards her rear end?

    Oh I hope she's ok.
