The Rapture w/Mimi Rogers and David Duchovny. Mimi Rogers did some seriously moving acting in this film. It's a very. disturbing. movie. Very.

The Snake Pit is on TCM tonight at 8pm. I have seen it before, but it was
years ago. I love old movies. I'll watch it again tonight. The acting of Olivia de Havilland is first rate.

Add me to the list of Avitar fans!!! I will admit that the plot is nothing new but the way it was presented was beautiful in my opnion. The visuals are spectacular! I love love love this movie!

Edited to add: I am a huge sci-fi film nut though. I even like that old black and white movie where the gigantic brain creatures try to eat people and one of the characters goes after the creatures with an axe...anyone know the name of it? Is Avitar the BEST sci fi film ever? No, I don't think so but it ranks up there for me.

I also like protagonist assemilates into alien culture because he finds them less objectionable than his own culture stories...even in books . Yay for plot devices!

Amazing Grace 2006..... Behind the song you love is a story you will never forget.

The idealist William Wilberforce maneuvers his way through Parliament, endeavoring to end the British transatlantic slave trade. This is an amazing film that I highly recommend. Beware LES content

I watched the 1948 movie Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. Very funny, the ending was the best part. An oldie but a goody for sure.

I watched Old Yeller lastnight. Even though I know what's gonna happen I still cry when he has to shoot him.

Tonight my little brother wants me to watch a scary movie w/ him...I think we're gonna watch A Nightmare on Elm Street

Long Way Round is a movie documenting the 19,000-mile (31,000 km) journey of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman from London to New York on motorcycles. They travelled eastwards through Europe, Russia,Mongolia, and Siberia then flew to Alaska and continued by road from there to New York.
I have only watched the first DVD with 3 more to watch. This is a once in a life time undertaking for both men. I wish i had the resources to pull off this type
    of adventure.
