Introducing my new fur kid, MORTY!

We met with Morty's foster mom last night and Morty was instantly part of our family. We all knew at once that he would fit in. Sylvia isn't letting the new guy disturb her daily routine what so ever. When Morty and his foster mom were at my house for about 30 minutes Sylvia decided it was her bed time and went to bed . Harley and Morty are sizing each other up a lot, but it's normal. Harley is backing down more than I thought he would. Hmm, maybe Morty will be the leader of this pack. I hope Harley is though. Morty is 1 year old and is a dachshund / spaniel mix we think, but your guess is as good as mine and the foster mom's. So here he is! My new dog Morty!



This one was last night right after the foster mommy left. It was almost midnight and we were all pooped. My cousin Mary is holding Sylvia, my brother Michael has Morty and I have Harley.

Oh my goodness, he's adorable. He really does look like he fits in nicely.
He reminds me a lot of my Nova girl. We don't know what Nova is either, but we believe she is a dachshund mix.

Edit: here is a picture of Nova to compare. They have different hair types, but their body structure, face, and ears are the same. You can't tell in this picture, but their tails are the same too.

Morty kind of looks like a dachshund/ Pekinese to me? Who knows? He's cute, whatever he is.
