Hi All,
Please read the letter I received tonight from The Canadian Voice for Animals Foundation, I will be
working on a letter tomorrow. Please write to everyone, no animal should have to live in
conditions like this. We entrust shelters and A.C.O.'s to take care of animals that are neglected,or strays.
The animals at this shelter may have been better off as a stray.

Today we received word that the shelter in Cove, Arkansas is out
of control...reliable sources tells us that the Sheriff and the Humane
Society of Polk, County, Arkansas consider this shelter/deathcamp

I am still crying as I write this. Those people should be forced to live in those conditions and left there to die!! Those people are not humans-they are barbarians!!! Those people do not deserve to live on this earth and one day they will have to answer for their cruelty!! It is just unbelievable that this is happening in our country and people allow it to happen. PLEASE everyone write to all the people listed as it will be those of us who care that will save these animals lives not the ones who have these animals

I read this posting this morning & followed the links
provided; but then I had to step away from the pc....

The internet is a powerful tool for sharing information.
It brings us together to share this info & to also act on
that information by sending e-mails, conveying our
concerns directly to people who can make changes.
With worldwide use of the internet, even small rural
communities cannot hide their inhumane treatment of
animals in their "care"..
I am reminded of three quotations on cruelty;

I am absolutely sick right now. I couldn't get through it. I will e-mail who I can, just as Lizbud is doing. *sigh* I certainly hope it makes a difference. But my heart tells me it's just too big of a problem to make it totally go away.

I pray that we can all make a diference. I also pray for the millions of animals that are needlessly euthanized each day because their irresponsible stupid owners no longer cared.

When this thread popped up a few days ago I did some checking
and found that the emails & letters did help a lot. This place was
closed down & the animals were all transferred to the Polk Cty
Animal Shelter. Vicci Andrews, the owner of this bogus "Shelter"
was arrested & convicted on animal cruelity charges. I found
links to updates as recent as May,2003. Here's one link on the
