I couldn't help but think a caption might be nice for this picture. How about "Whaaasssssuppppp?"

I love the way Balthazar is gentle with the baby. He really is a Gentle Giant...maybe that could be another caption.
What a gorgous dog he is! Congrats, big guy, on making this your day to be dog of the day!
Pam,
That was my first thought, too, when I saw the pic!!!
What a beautiful Big Guy you are, Balthazar!!! (Your Daddy's a funny guy, too!) Congrats on Dog of the Day!

Now this is what they call a BIG dog! But Balthazar is more than just a beautiful body. The B. dog is going to be a loving protector for his human sister, and I don't think your family needs to have any other security system. Obviously Balthazar is rather indulgent of having a comedian for a Dad. Contrats Balthazar on today's honor and your happy family!
Yep! Pam's response was my first thought too!! Great photo! Great story! Great big handsome dog!!!! Congratulations!!!!
That is the biggest dog I've ever seen!
He is a big dog!!! But I love him already, especially since he is so gentle with the baby. That's so important!
I think if there is a King of the Kingdom, this dog might be it!!!
Great photo! Gentle Giant is definitly the term I would use to describe Balthazer. Pam, "Whassssuppppp!" is the first thing I thought of too
Huge Congratulations Big Boy!! I guess it's all been said! My first thought was "Gentle Giant" too. What a warm, sweet, protective and very loving companion "B" will be to his little "sister!" Years of love and happy times lay ahead with this very special "big brother." Yeah for Balthazar!!! One SPECTACULAR "Dog of the Day!"
Good Lord, he's huge...

Life ain't easy for a boy named Sue...
Here's a trivia question......I have been trying to think of the movie that Tom Hanks was in with the Bull Mastiff and I am drawing a blank. Anyone remember?
He is 1.5 times the size of me. I'd have to hope he wasn't a jumper.
Poor thing, I keep talking about how huge he is. Of course, he also seems like a wonderful dog.

Pam, I did a quick search on IMDB. Was it Turner & Hooch? (I never saw it.)
Smilla.....yes it was!!! Thank you very much. It was driving me crazy!!
