    What's your cat's nature?

Hi, Kirsten! What an intersting idea for a poll. Groucho, aside from being spoiled, is a very friendly and good natured kitty. When someone comes over, Groucho goes right up to them wanting to be friends doing the leg rub routine. He has a sweet personality, loves to watch New York Yankee baseball games. He's very affectionate when he wants to be, and he wants pets and tummy rubs NOW. We often call him the Inspector because he has to check out everything that we bring into the house. I can't imagine life without my Groucho.....

Dylan: laid back, calm, tolerant (until the kittens are too naw-tee)

    Emily: friendly, sweet, loving

Eliot: energetic, playful, lovey dovey to his Meowmie

Lizzie: friendly, playful, sometimes affectionate - she LOVES baby Misha!

Robbie: clutzy, affectionate, friendly, a love-bug - did I mention clutzy?

Thankfully, no scardy cats here - all five are quite friendly with Dylan being the most reserved and Robbie the most outgoing. Emily is probably the sweetest. None are particularly naw-tee

Finnigan is a typical "only cat", the whole household revolves around him and what he wants and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Tigger: Laid-back/relaxed, sweet(in his own ways!), can be scared/shy around strangers.

Emma: Affectionate, very loving, is always right there when I'm upset, even before I know I am! She is also very scared of strangers.

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.

Pixel is very affectionate and loving with me and Jon -
but to anyone else, he is still pretty cautious and shy.

He IS starting to stick around when we have company - even putting up with a little petting from strangers when he feels like it.

Pixel has never shown any agression to any people - just a little hissing and paw swipes (no claws) when he very first met Fizzy and she came to live with us. He hissed at Tristan ONCE - when they first came face-to-face, and I tossed Pixel back out the door! LOL! But Tristan was very sick (cancer) when Pixel first came to us, and I think Pixel sensed that Tristan would not bother him. They would even share a couch and lie touching each other.

Now, with Fizzy, however, we haven't seen any hissing and not even 'airplane ears' from him around Fizzy in a month or more. He still watches her cautiously at times - she IS alot bigger than he is and she often charges thru the house after a toy, and that is 'disturbing' to HRH Pixel's dignity! LOL!

Thanks, Amanda, for the wonderful siggy and avatar!
