Please, please prayers for Marigold

I'm really sad today.

Thursday night, I picked Marigold up and noticed a very obnoxious smell and her ear was filled with goop. I called the vet yesterday (Friday morning), and the earliest they could see her was first thing this morning (Saturday). I just got back and she is going in for surgery this afternoon. She has an infected abscess so they are going in to clean it up and put a drain in. At the same time, they are going to scale her teeth.

She will hopefully be home very late tonight, or mid-day tomorrow. We will need to clean it out and pill her everyday.

Please pray that my baby will be OK. I was very emotional when I had to leave her. She looked so trusting at me, and I violated her trust by leaving her there.

Oh poor baby Marigold. It must be very painful for her. I hope
the surgery goes well & she gets well quickly.

Marigold will be in my prayers. Leaving one of your babies at the vet is so hard! She will realize you didn't desert her when she is home and all better.

Oh poor Marigold! Prayers on the way that she will get well quickly. It's so hard to leave them isn't it? They look at you like they just can't believe you aren't taking them home with you. That is the saddest and hardest part for me too. You know you have to do what is best for them but it hurts like the dickens when you look into those eyes.
The good thing is she will be home soon and she will feel better. That had to hurt having an abcess in the ear. They hide pain so well.

Lots of prayers & good thoughts for Marigold! It's awful when you have to leave them at the vet's and there is no way to explain it to them.
