    update on baby kitty..... *pics*

I am so proud of my little baby. He took his first poop this morning.

I was getting a little worried about him cause he hadn't pooped yet. My mom said I may need to wet a rag with warm water and wipe his bottom.... (like a mommy cat washin his bum) to stimulate him to potty.

I sat with him in the bathroom for about an hour last night periodically washin his bum. He seemed to like it cause he would roll on his side and let me wash him.

This morning before work he hadn't took a poop ...... so I washed his rear again. I stepped out to get him some fresh food..... and when i got back there was a little dookie hanging from his bottom.... and he was squirming around..... I guess he couldn't finish the job. So I got some tissue and pulled the poop of his bottom and he started playing.

I am so proud of him.... and his first little poop.

I hope I don't get too attached to him....

    Here are some more pictures.

How could you not get "too attached" to this little mini tiger. What do Jupiter and Tinky say about him?

He is just too adorable, Sara! Anyway you can get Eric to help with his care and feeding a little? That might just help bond the two and then there's no way Eric could give him up. I know there's not much hope since he didn't bond with the other scooterbugs you had, but it's worth a try....

I'm still catching up a bit so I didn't post this on the other thread with his pictures, but I did notice that Kim (Catnapper) thought he was a real doll baby and I wasn't surprised at her response since, after all, he is a little tabby baby.

Eric won't keep him... Because realistically he knows (and I know) I would keep every kitty that crossed our path.

Eric has been spending a lot of time with this kitty. I guess because it is so tame.....

If he said we could keep him ... I would in a heartbeat....

I love the ones of him playing. Almost too cute to handle. I'm afraid if I decided to foster to dogs or cats, that I'd end up having a houseful because I'd never be able to let them go.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

How can you not get attached? He's such a cutie!! He looks a lot like my Bailey did when we first adopted him when he was very tiny and sweet. How old is your little guy? He's soooo adorable.

Do you just have the 2 other cats? 1 more doesn't make that big of a difference really. When we went from 2 to 3, it was no big deal, and not really a big deal when we adopted the 4th. However, this appears to be all, even with all the space we have in the house we bought. Our 4 are very happy and healthy, though, and seeming to love the new house, so I'd hate to mess that up!

Thanks to krazyaboutkatz for the cute avatar and wolf_Q for the cute siggy!

Rest in Peace, sweet Leo. You are sorely missed!
Since I last posted, we have another new addition - Tabitha, as of fall 2008.

I tried keeping a kitten a few months ago and.....

now Lucy is part of the crew. I was to keep her for a month (until Christmas) for a girl at work, well, that was a joke. I grew attached to Ms. Lucy Lu right away and informed the girl at work that she would have to go find another black kitty, cause Lucy was staying with me! She laughed, knowing what a good home Lucy would have and how sure I was at the beginning that Lucy would NOT stay with me.......

I could NEVER foster. I would end up keeping them all.

Miley would probably move out, if I brought in any more cats!

I just love this little kitten though. Very tempting............hmmmmm. see, I told you I could never foster.

    .

I have lost that battle too many times. If he would have said yes every time I fostered a kitty.... I would have 11 now..

Thanks everybody for all the nice comments on my little scooter bug!!
