    What do you collect?

I collect anything kitty cat. I have figures, clocks, lamps, stuffies, door stoppers, ornaments, blankies, EVERYTHING kitty cats. I have been collecting for around 4 years now. I have so many I cant count them all.
What do you collect? How many do you have of it, and what kinds of different categories do you have (like figures or lamps) ???

    Thank you so much Michelle!

Too much! I have collected teddy bears for years, mostly Boyds now. I also started collecting lots of puppy and kitty stuff! ( like I need too, I have real ones ) I keep swearing I'm done collecting! I'm waiting on a Boyds bearstone from ebay and see a Cherished Teddy in the Avon book I want! I swear, these are the last ones I'm buying!

Well, of coarse I have a collection of kitty stuff and every holiday that comes, it makes it easy to pick something for me. I have a daughter in law that gives me mostly cat related stuff every Christmas.

I also collect Jewel Tea (collectable dinnerware) and have a cabinet full of various pieces that include the set of my Mom's nesting bowls that I got when she died. I had admired those since I was a child. I also have some of her old pots and pans and have added pieces to those. Hammered aluminum that was sold door to door in the "old days".

I haven't really collected any of these things in awhile, but, I have a few collections that I've had for years....

spoons (pewter, mostly, but, they're from all over the world)
    Eeyore
    stuffed animals
    little porcelain animals
    Breyer horses

Now, I mostly just "collect" movies, books, and music.

Bells, I have a couple hundred of them. I've been collecting those since I was a kid.

I also collect cow stuff, especially Mary Moo-Moo's and kitchen decor items. I don't buy it anymore, but I get tons of cow stuff as gifts! Drives my hubby nutty!

I'll admit, I love my clutter lol. Chicken figurines (in the kitchen), cat figurines (especially vintage ones), Victorian trade cards, and framed prints...I've picked up some gorgeous ones, and inherited a few more. Steiff animals (99% old ones...newer ones just aren't as special). Lately I've been accumulating old cat planters which I adore! Someday I'll put plants in them, and glue them to the windowsill, so they don't end up broken like everything else that belongs to the cats here! I do need to thin out my treasures soon, but the more surface clutter, the less need to dust! Oh yeah, I collect that too!
