I'm watching some super cute Labbies!!

I'm watching my boss's labbie girls this weekend and they are not only totally cute, but they are so well behaved!! Its a pleasure going over there to see them and play in the yard with them.

Is it food time yet????

These dogs eat SO fast!! Maybe I'm just not used to dogs, but WOW!! As soon as I turned my back, the food was GONE!!

This was right after they knocked their water pan over...into the screen and all over me!!! Silly puppies!!

I had such a blast with these two! They are so well mannered! They sit as soon as you open the food can...and when I gave them their rawhides in the morning, they both lay in thier own beds and eat them. Aww...so precious!!

I can't wait till I get to watch them again!!

Yup! the food vaccuum is a lab thing!! I've trained Malone to slow down, but haven't been successful with Emerson yet!

OK good. I was worried I was doing something wrong. I feed them in the morning and again at night...2 cups total for the day.

It sure was fun. I just spoke with my boss and she's on her way home to her girls.

OK...how come the people I tell I'm watching two labbies all say "whoa! those are neurotic!!"

No they aren't! I've grown up with labs and labxs and they've been sweet and laidback.

Is that a common thing??

I have two lab mixes, Rocky and Jenny and imo labs are not neurotic but eating food like there is no tomorrow, yes. I am glad you had fun with them

Wow! I was surprised when I saw Dari, she looks exactly like a cross between RB Brooke and Riley! She has Riley's headshape and Brooke's eyes. I've never seen a lab that resembles either of them. What pretty girls

And yes, that is definitely a lab thing. Riley eats 2 cups at once in less than 30 seconds, bowl spotless!

Awwww! How fun, Kelly! Your boss has a beautiful yard BTW!

Labs are pretty active dogs, especially under 5 years of age they are still "puppies"! These sound like very normal labs to me! I'm glad you had fun with them!
