I'm glad all the kitties enjoyed the first nip of the season! Mine love the fresh stuff. I hope Mike threw the pieces down after making them all do circus tricks for it lol!

    Great pictures!

I've got a plant of catnip growing in a pot in P & CJ's little outdoor enclosure. Peanut adores it and is all over it whenever she is out there - and, as a matter of fact, she even climbed in the pot last weekend! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera handy and by the time I got it she had jumped out. However, CJ could care less about the plant, but I know he loves the dried catnip. Maybe it's because he's not used to being outside and there are just too many distractions for him to cloud his mind with nip.

Tubby always preferred the fresh to the dried also. He would lick on it, chew it, roll on it but never really eat it.

Same thing here! We had 2 types of catnip growing in the garden, but Maya & Inka both didn't care for it!! They both prefer the dried stuff

Boy they look like they sure did LOVE that fresh nip.

I uprooted all my catnip plants from my house so I can take them to my mom's house and then to the new house once we move in. The really funny thing is that while we were out at the house site Mark and I went in the woods to get to the other houses that are being built and I came upon 20 wild catnip plants....so the next weekend I brought my shovel and bucket and uprooted 6 of the plants.

My babies just have to have the fresh nip.
