Don't know why I didn't think of this before!

It's definitely time to start integrating Kahlua with Mowgli and Zelda, and I think I've figured out how to do it!

First off, Ms. Kahlua is now the purple-toed kitty around here. That way if she does get into a tussle, she can't hurt Mowg or Zelda with those little kitten claws of hers. (Pics will come as soon as the batteries in my camera are recharged.)

And second, today I put the harness and leash on her to let her out of the bedroom, and it worked amazingly well! She made charges for both Mowgli and Zelda, but I was able to use the leash to control her movements! So now she doesn't have to go from bedroom to cage, and this'll provide opportunities to interact with Mowgli and Zelda.

Hopefully the soft claws will prove unnecessary, but if she slips her harness, I'll be glad she's got 'em on.

And it only took what? A month to come up with this strategy.

They will all "bond" in time.... MAYBE! But that harness and lease idea is a great one. Wished I'd thought of that!!

Lacey that is a fantastic idea!!! Why didn't any of us think of that?? I would still squirt her with some water when she does the "charge" on poor Mowgli. Maybe then she will figure it out. She just wants to be the Queen and Mowgli is the little jester. Don't run Mowg and she will think twice about it!!! Shes got the purple toes now!!! Of course, she does like to take a taste of your sweet little self doesn't she?
