    drooling

My dog Cooper is a 7 yr old white German Shepherd. Recently he has started drooling. He has never done this before and now drool is almost always present around his mouth. Does anyone have an idea on this?

You need to have the jaw/mouth

examined by a Vet. Most likely the long term drooling is due to the dog unable or unwilling to close its mouth. Causes could range from masticatory myositis most frequently seen in the German Shepard, to something like a tooth abcess.
