    Your Pet and MUD!!

I'm starting this topic because I won't be able to contribute much to it. Freckles is strictly and indoor cat and only sees mud thru the window pane. Please share your pet's feelings on this topic.

My dog Buddy loves water and mud! Today he came inside with mud 1/2 way up his legs and his tummy was also muddy (very muddy). He can't understand why he is gated in the kitchen! Almost impossible to wash his feet down as by the time I got that done it would be time to go back out & play! After he would get dried off some I would let him come part way into the living room. I put down 2 old sheets on the carpet for him to play on & this worked out well as they are easy to wash & put back down again for the next round of mud.

Bandit, my Pug, absolutely HATES to get wet. Jeffrey, my Basset/Lab, loves mud, water, anything that is absolutely filthy, or stinky. If I let him out of the backyard without a leash he runs straight to a small stream that's nearby. Must be the lab in him

Mud no more at my house!!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me though. I just had the backyard sodded last week, and if can just take root before the two monsters tear it up, my mud days will be over!!

Mine are Golden Retrievers and they love to get wet, so wet, red clay was a wonderful thing to play in!! On rainy days, I would have red footprints all over my hardwood floors, and of course, we had to put sheets or old comforters over our bedspreads as they love to sleep in the bed! Red clay makes really nice stains that don't want to come out!!!

Mimi, the older cat, absolutely refuses to go outdoors when it is messy, so I've never had a mud problem with her. But our new boy, Butter is a different story. He is very light in color so I know when he's been hunting. He will have red clay mud up to his armpits!!! He digs outdoors like a dog would!!!

my cats, when they rarely get to go outside, they walk through mud like they are walking through bubble gum. They lift their feet really high in the air, It's funny

My two box turtles, Igor and Izzy, love the mud. They love when I pour the water into the dirt in their cage. They love walking through the woods also. They stop at everything and check it to see if it's food. They often find worms, water, mushrooms and bugs.
