Attack!!

Hi I have a 71/2 mth old male kitten.I had him since he was 8wks old.My 13 year old step daughter comes to visit every other weekend and my cat felix is on the deffensive side!! He wont let up from the time she comes into the door till she leaves.He hisses and growls(never knew a cat to growl) and attacks her leg(biteing sometimes)She dont do anything to encourage this behavior.Keep in mind its only myself and my husband here full time.Could that be the problem?jealous,dont like children?(not use to having them around) He is such a sookie baby,sucks on his blanket and everthing we have no problems with him at all!!Not sure what to do .... Anyone have any suggestions?

I feel for you. I am in the same situation here. If you look a little lower down I describe an incident I had with my oldest cat Puddin'. He doesnt like anyone and he attacks me like your cat attacks your daughter. I dont know what the answer is.
