    knick knack catty wack...

I collect smallish cat figurines, I try to find ones that are a bit unique or 'animated' looking.
Here are a few of mine...do you all have any to share?

The southwest looking one is part of the Robert Shields collection (remember Shields and Yarnell? He is an artist among other things now)

You have some really cute ones! I only have a few and nothing that exciting. I'm pretty sure there are other PTers who have some neat collections of cats .... this will give the thread a *bump* so they can share too!

Gary, you have got to learn how to use that camera so you can take pictures and post.. I would love to see that!

Bibblets, I have many, all mine are ordinary, none like you have.. Rie Rie has a really cute set she got for Christmas, I hope she sees this thread and posts a picture of those..

There ya go Rie, I wish you had done something for size comparison so they could see how big they are... These are not small figures, they are BIG!

I don't really have any cat figures. I collect dragons.

    Love your collection!

I have a nice collection of Lenox cats. I love them, but am running out of room where I put them... time to buy a shelf for them! I'll photograph and attach images later (likeafter I dust! )

I love them...all of them! I adore the cups and bowls!
I like to search Ebay for unusual figurines.
My favorite is the one on the far left in the first pic. It is a cat standing on a chair giving raspberries to mouse down below, and around the base it says 'pussycat pussycat where have you been?'
    Remember the nursery rhyme..
pussycat pussycat where have you been?
I've been to London to visit the Queen.
pussycat pussycat what did you there?
I frightened a little mouse under her chair.

Its always a treat to come across a new one for the collection.
    Thanks for sharing yours

I've got lots of them, but (echoing catnapper) hate to dust lol! I have some favorites which are my Hummels, and 1950s figurines. One I bought for .10 several years ago, and saw at an antique show selling for almost $100.00!!!A Royal Doulton kitten...so cute! And I have several of the San Francisco Music Company figurines that are very cute (and musical).
