    I am so bummed!

Chuck has slept with me at night since he as about 6 weeks old. He will be 12 this Spring. As of the last month, all of a sudden he has been sleeping on the chair in the living room at night. If I take him to bed with me, like I have done for 11 years now, he immediately leaves. He is still cuddling with me all the time and is not acting sick in any way so I totally don't get it. I have tried changing my comforter, sheets, and still he won't stay. Guys, I know I sound like a total wierdo, but I have been sleeping like crap! He has always been curled up above my head purring like crazy. The silence is killing me! LOL
Ok, this is bad, but I even put his toys on his pillow thinking that would do it, and no dice.
    Any ideas?

Have you changed anything else? Poucner used to sleep with me every night too and doesnt anymore because Harry decided to share the bed too. Even when Harry is not there, Pouncer no longer wants to share the bed

No, nothing else I can think of. It used to be that he couldn't get up into the bed, so I got him a step stool a couple years ago and he loved it. The only other thing I can think of is that I had taken him to the groomer a few weeks ago for a bath and brush because his hairballs were so bad. Maybe he is mad at meowmie?

Have you changed your laundry soap or fabric softener? Sometimes the odors associated with that will do it for a cat.

The one fabric I have discovered that seems to be irresistable to cats is flannel. Go get yourself some flannel sheets and see if that helps.
