-hmm- I just searched her name, and there was a thread she made saying that her bird wouldn't come near her because they left for 2 months and it stayed in its cage the whole time.

Ummm...I'm sure she feels bad already, it not your job to make sure she does. I bet there was a logical reason as to why the bird wasn't handled by the sitter.
