The night he died, he got up and walked to my bedroom and woke me up. I was stunned to see him but of course got up and loved on him until he walked back to his place in the living room. He was gone in the morning, peacefully laying exactly as he did when he slept. It was his time.
Oh my gosh, this just brings tears to my eyes. It's like he was saying one last good-bye.
Debbie, I'll be praying for Mr. Tubby all night long and will check in tomorrow for uppydates. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that he's got a couple more years left in him.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
