    Magoo Threads

I saw that Lut had asked about Magoo because she wasn't here to hear his whole story. I thought that since Magoo is such a big PT topic, other newbies along the way might be curious too, so I tried to compile most of the earlier threads about him to document his whole story in - hopefully - one thread. Which of course we won't ever be able to do because it's an ongoing story, but at least the beginning of his tail will be in one place.

These are in no particular order because first of all I searched for Ocular and then I searched for Magoo. If anyone would like to take the time to put the names of the threads along with the links - or add more links - feel free.

I think this is one of the most heartwarming stories we've had on PT.

Thanks so much for doing this research. Bob (hubby) has fallen under Magoo's spell also and asks about him from time-to-time. I tried explaining the whole story but left out parts -- I had completely forgotten he was originally called Ocular! Now I can fill him in from the beginning.

OMG!!! Debbie I can't believe you did this! That was a lot of work and I can't thank you enough! WOW!!! You are such a sweetheart!

You know I went back again and looked at a few of the threads and I can't believe he is the same cat. He's gotten so fat and fuzzy and thankfully HAPPY!
I did end up with a headache just remembering the stress on the entire household. I hope I never have to go through anything like that again! I know it really turned around quickly but it didn't feel that way while it was happening. GEESH!

    Thanks so much Debbie!!

Thank you for posting that. I always wondered about Magoo, but was afraid to ask. He is adorable and I enjoy the posts about him. You would never know has anything wrong by the way you talk about him and the pictures you post. It's nice to see that even the cats that are disabled have loving home. You and those like you are absolutely wonderful and angels for showing them what happiness and love is all about.!!!

    God Bless.

    Great idea!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Debbie, what a wonderful thing to do! That is just one of the sweetest things!

Lut, now you can see why we all love Magoo so much, at first he made us cry and now he makes us smile, and laugh at the same time, even when we get depressed, there is Magoo to break that bad feeling we get sometimes.

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

Gee, thanks everybody. I had no idea there would be such an overwhelming response to this. Someday - when I have a bit of time - I'll go back and edit the post and put names to the threads and put them in chronological order so it's easier to follow the whole story.

I think it's nothing less than a miracle that Magoo was able to turn around so radically - and so quickly. Once he realized he wasn't in danger - except for that durn thing that kept swatting him - he seemed to totally relax and become the "gooey" Goo we know and love today.

Are there ANY threads about Magoo with pictures left in them?

I hope Magoo is fine! Have anyone heard?
