    PT prayers needed please!!!

My sister was just diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I don't know anything else yet, she had just gotten back from the Dr.

Please pray for her, she is 33 and has a 3 year old daughter and a 7 month old son and a wonderful loving husband.

I just spoke to her on the phone, and she sounds okay.
The Dr. told her she will be fine once they remove the thyroid she is lucky because it was caught early.

Right now it looks like they will be removing her thyroid on Nov the 16th.

Thank you all for the prayers, she'll need them to stay strong.

It was found as a fluke... she was at Sam's Club and they were having cholesterol l screening, so she had her's checked and it was super high. So she made an appointment with her Dr. and their machine must have been messed up or the person taking it did something wrong because her Dr. said it was fine. Then he just did a once over on her while she was there, and that's when he found the lump!!!!

Often things like that happen for a reason. This reason was clear. I am so glad they found it early. Lots of good positive energy going your way...

Sending positive thoughts. I'm glad your sister's cancer was caught early - she'll have a really good chance of full recovery.

Wow! She's very lucky to have had those things happen so the doctor could find it. I hope it's removed without incident and she heals quickly. I know it must be very scary. I'll call you Monday to see if maybe we can meet somehow. I'll be there until Thursday morning, then leaving for TN.

I will definitely keep her in my prayers, Angie. What a stroke of good fortune that it was found (and that her cholesterol is fine).
