    does your pet watch TV?

We used to have a cat who would jump at the TV screen after football players running across the field! My current cat, Julie, is quite oblivious to TV. What is really surprising is that she does not even respond to cat sounds on either radio or TV...However, if a cat should meow or even just walk by outside, she is immediately on the windowsill of my second-floor apartment to check it out.

I guess her senses are so acute that she can tell "live" from "canned" cat meows!

Speck and Gino have been known to pay attention during certain TV shows, mostly Animal Planet. But I do recall, when TBS was playing, "Showgirls" all the time (the censored version, thank doG, don't want my dogs being corrupted ), Speck caught a few glimpses here and there. He looooooves his women. He's a bit of a girl-crazy hound, whether human or canine, as those who know him can attest.

    Murph doesn't watch at all.

Oz does on rare ocassions. Seems to be mostly when there's a distressed animal whining on TV.

Gull watches all kinds of things. I haven't found a pattern yet. I was watching "Van Hesling" over the weekend and he seemed to be enthralled with the Frankenstein character. He was intently watching the screen and then going up to the screen to get a closer look see, during some of that character's scenes.

    Par...

No, it only catches their attention if a dog barks or something!

Sometimes! we have to be careful with Echo though because if she see's another Rottie or dachshund on TV she gets crazy and almost breaks it. (it's only those 2 breeds that interest her )

Gracie does and right now she has her nose pressed to the computer screen. I was showing her some of the pics..and she started licking the screen so I had to make her get down.

    Finn

Not really, but, he is fascinated with mirrors. My RB cat, Justin, would watch this one show that used to come on called "The Pet Dept.", I have a video of him watching it.

    Thanks, Dogz!
