    Sue,

Smokey's taking Baytril for the infection.

Thanks Cinder & Smoke & everyone else for the suggestions.
I'm stopping at the store on my way home from work today and
I'm loading up on a lot of these tempting foods for Smokey. I am
really glad that he felt well enough to play with Maggie this morning, that's something.

Hope today's report will include a little more good news, like chomping down some food, Smokey.

Smokey did eat some last night & this morning. It was
only a hand full of kibble mixed with Mighty Dog chicken/gravy.
He's had his second dose of the sulfa drug to lesson inflamation
in his intestines. Smokey did barf up some white fomey stuff
after eating this morning, but I think that's because his stomach
hasn't had food in so long.

He's playing with Maggie some, but still seems a little tired. I
took today & tomorrow off from work to be around him more.
He can't seem to hold his pee for more than a few hours & has
been having accidents in the house. It makes him feel terrible
when he does this so I'm going to stay around to let him out
more often & keep an eye on him.Hopefully, with time & the meds, he can continue to get better every day.

Thanks for being here for encouragement & prayers guys.

Poor baby! Momma knows you don't mean to have accidents, Smokey!

When my Peach used to have accidents, she was so ashamed of herself. I tried to tell her I understood, but she would just slink off and hide her head. I felt so bad for her.

Bless his heart - he's really trying to get better. Give him a {hug} for me.

Smokey dear, I'm so happy to read that you're felling a little bit better.
Now, if you try to eat the yummy food your mommy is giving you, you'll be able to play much more with sis Maggie.
Fingers and paws crossed here, with many good wishes for a quick recovery.
Hugs to you, Maggie, and Liz too.

Smokey is doing much better today. The Vet called me early this morning before our appointment to see if he was eating &
how he acted otherwise. I gave the Vet a good report & so
Smokey didn't have to go into the office. I did have to go pick up
more of the sulphasalezine RX, as he has to stay on that for a
    while longer.

When Smokey & Maggie were playing in the yard this morning,
I saw some of that happy pupster he was before he got sick.
Smokey, Maggie and I thank you for the prayers.
