    Jack Russell Terriers and some of the colors I didn't know about

    WOW! I didn't know there was so many different colors in Jack Russell's. Heh, my small mind kept trying to maintain them as red & white, but look at these adorable little babies...

    Black-


    White-


    Lemon & White-


    And BRINDLE!! (I absalutly LOVE brindle)-

    i've never seen black,lemon & white,and Brindle. All the colours look great,i love em!

    cute puppies!

    the standard for jack russells: white should predominate (i.e., must be more than 51% white) with tan, black, or brown markings. Brindle shows other breed (such as staffie) in the ancestry. The same with the all black and the black and tan ones probably shows other breed in the ancestry such as Patterdale Terrier or Manchester Terrier. But ofcourse, they can be 100% jack russell in character and like I said cute nonetheless.

    They are all cute, no matter what color! Did you know the AKC only accepts Parsons? I wish they would hurry up and regester both!

    One of my friends used to breed Jack Russells, in some the litters there were some of these results also. I know there was a black and a white, and a black and tan, but I dont know about the lemon and white and the brindle.
