Lazy, lazy girl! ** Samantha ~Pics~!**

Ever had one of those lazy, lazy weekends?! Samantha's done nothing but play and snooze (oh to be a dog, right?). I'll be posting more pictures next week, as August 23rd is her Gotcha! Day.

So without further ado... Miss Samantha!

Here is her pile of toys in the family room. I just vacuumed today, otherwise they'd be strewn everywhere. Actually there are probably about 5 balls not shown here as they are in other areas of the house, and about 4 stuffed toys are upstairs in the bedroom. No, she's not spoiled... not at all!


"Nooooo Mom, get the flashy thing outta my face! I'm tryin' to nap... AGAIN!"

Here are a couple more I just took. When I'm on the computer, she likes to stand up on the couch and look over the back of it and play tug. Here we're playing with her favorite toy of all, Hedgehog.

We're not sure what breeds she has in her. She came to us after her first "owners" abandoned her on the side of a highway. My neighbor happened by and is a big animal crusader, so she picked her up.

Two definites are German Shepherd and a Retriever of some sort - I'm thinking Golden because of her hair but she's also got webbed feet and I don't know if all Retrievers have that, or just water retrievers, like the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. The vet also mentioned Collie. Beyond that, we really have no idea. I wish I did - I'd love to get another dog just like Samantha (temperament-wise) later.

All I have to do is say certain words: Daddy, Granmommy, Granddaddy, Uncle Robbie, Sherman (my parent's cat), stick (as in rawhide), snack, puppy food, go, bye-byes, car, and walk. She'll turn her head like above and then the other way. It is the cutest thing ever.

In this case, I mentioned that it was time for puppy food.
