    Cheesy Dog Biscuit Reciepe

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 1/4 cup grated cheese
    1/4 lb of margerine
1 clove of fresh garlic (Or powder.. fresh tastes better)
1/4 cup of milk, (or as needed)

Grate cheese into bowl and let stand until it reaches room temp. Cream the cheese with the softened margerine, garlic, and flour. Add enough milk to form into a ball.

Chill for 1/2 hour. Roll onto floured board, cut shapes and bake at 375 degrees for 15 mins or until slightly browned and firm. Makes 2 to 3 dozen depending on size you choose to make the cookies.

Trust me,, youll want to steal a few for yourself,, they are that good!!!!!

    ENJOY!!!!

Thanks for the recipe, I can hardly wait to see what they think of it! My dogs aren't food hounds so they don't like much, I'll let you know what they think. Yesterday we were eating chicken and we gave the dogs a little peice and they all spit it out except for Echo lol. they ould much rather play with a toy than eat, they usually love things with cheese so I think they'll like these.

One thing--I thought I had heard before that garlic wasn't good for dogs?? Maybe just not a lot of it?? I don't remember.

I just knew you were going to say that I can't imagine a rottie turning down a bite of chicken!

Great recipe, I'll have to try it.

Well I dunno if I believe that or not,,, my Lucy gets fed stuff with fresh garlic in it and shes still alive and kicking,,,, if youre not sure,, you can always go with garlic powder..... But hey,, I would never post ANYTHING I thought would be harmful to a dog.....

I made something similar to that a couple weeks ago. The boys loved it! (I enjoyed it too.. it was pretty good! )

I usually add about a clove of garlic to the treats. I've heard that they help repel fleas. I figure small amounts shouldn't hurt, even if they didn't repel fleas.
