Lol, my dads name is Floyd!

  2. #32
I'm listening to my cd & there is no way I can post all the lyrics. Threr r over 100 songs on it, but I can list the bands

    loads of:
    ABBA
    Creed
    Gladitor the movie
    Enya
    Braveheart the movie
    Godzilla the movie

& about 30 other diff bands that I only like one or 2 of their songs.

But I mostly just play ABBA & Enya over & over & over.

My back left speaker is squished beside Mango's tank & my mountain of Boxes. Well I discovered that MANGO just loves music. AS soon as I turn any song on, he swims up to the speaker & will just stay there, he's never this calm when I'm in the room. So its nice not having him trying to trash his tank trying to get to me (I'm about 5 feet (sitting on my bed playing on the computer) from his tank & thats too close for his liking)

    BABY ONE MORE TIME!

    Oh baby, baby
Oh baby, baby Oh baby, baby
How was I supposed to know
    That something wasn't right here
    Oh baby baby
I shouldn't have let you go
And now you're out of sight, yeah
Show me, how you want it to be
    Tell me baby
'Cause I need to know now what we've got

    [CHORUS:]
    My loneliness is killing me
I must confess, I still believe
When I'm not with you I lose my mind
    Give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

    Oh baby, baby
The reason I breathe is you
    Boy you got me blinded
    Oh baby, baby
    There's nothing that I wouldn't do
That's not the way I planned it
Show me, how you want it to be
    Tell me baby
'Cause I need to know now what we've got

    [Repeat CHORUS]

    Oh baby, baby
    Oh baby, baby
    Ah, yeah, yeah
    Oh baby, baby
How was I supposed to know
    Oh pretty baby
I shouldn't have let you go
I must confess, that my loneliness
    Is killing me now
Don't you know I still believe
    That you will be here
    And give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

    [Repeat CHORUS]

I must confess that my loneliness
    Is killing me now
Don't you know I still believe
    That you will be here
    And give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

Well, I'm not actually listening to this song, but I love the lyrics and it reminds me so much of me and Orli Sorry, I'm going through some times right now, and...yeah well you don't want to listen, here are the lyrics!

You're the words that come out easy,
And I am speechless at best.
Your star it seems to shine above the rest.
You're the face before the cameras,
The smile i'd like to earn.
    The closest thing to perfect,
    In a hollywood suburb.
You're the beauty that is deeper,
    Than eyes can merely see.
    The closest thing to perfect.
But the farthest thing from me.

    Chorus: (x2)
    I'd love to be,
The shoulder that you cry on.
    I'd love to be,
The friend you call when things are great.

You're the dream that hasn't ended,
And I'm still anxious for rest.
Your words they seem to hang above my head.
You're the bud before the flower,
    Unfurls into full bloom.
    Captivating beauty,
But it maybe all too soon.
You're the song that writes a story,
    But leaves alot to read.
    The closest thing to perfect,
But the farthest thing from me.

    Chorus: (x2)

And like I really deserve a chance to,
    Sit across the table,
And tell you that I think you're wonderful.
And I think you're something special.
I guess this is my only chance to,
Say I wish I knew you,
    Because I'm sure you're wonderful,
If I'd get to know you.

I'm listening to "I Was Born To Love You" by Queen...they so rock!

I was born to love you (love you...)
With every single beat of my heart
Yes I was born to take care of you
    Every single day (single day...)
    All right
    Hey hey

I was born to love you with every single beat of my heart
Yes I was born to take care of you every single day of my life

You are the one for me I am the man for you
You were made for me you're my ecstasy
If I was given every opportunity I'd kill for your love
So take a chance with me let me romance with you
I'm caught in a dream and my dreams come true
It's so hard to believe this is happening to me
    An amazing feeling coming through

I was born to love you with every single beat of my heart
Yes I was born to take care of you honey every single day of my life

I wanna love you I love every little thing about you
I wanna love you love you love you
(Born) to love you (born) to love you yes (Born) I was born to love you
(Born) to love you (born) to love you every single day of my life
I was born to take care of you every single day, day, day of my life

    An amazing feeling coming through
I was born to love you with every single beat of my heart
Yeah I was born to take care of you every single day of my life
Yes, I was born to love you
    Every single day
    Of my life

I'm listening to Ozma- Domino Effect

I'm so sad, Ozma just broke up, less than 2 weeks ago. They're my favorite band.

    Lyrics to Domino Effect:
    chances last a finite time
    in the warm july nighttime
every care that keeps you from your feet is a care that carries your defeat

you better let 'er rip tonight
with a pocket full of kryptonite
every care that keeps you in your seat is a care that carries your defeat

sing that song you sang long ago
a heartbeat so sure and slow
hold me and don't let go
    the fourteenth domino

    twenty thousand points of light
sun by day disco ball by night
every care that keeps you from the beat is a care that carries your defeat

sing that song that i used to know
    the fourteenth black domino
    hold me like long ago
    a heartbeat sure and slow

    chances last a finite time
    in the warm july nighttime
every care that keeps you from your feet is a care that carries your defeat

chances last a finite time and you're running out of time

MariaM - Was that the song that was sung in Freaky Friday? Because when it played and I heard a man's voice, I was just a little bit confused.

Listening to Amy's Song from Switchfoot.

    Amy's gone
    And time rolls on
How far? how fast? how long?

The last time we saw Amy
She was headed for the shore
Fighting off the volatile gray skies

    She said now begins forever
And that no one knows their time
    We bid farewell not knowing
That might be our last goodbye

    Amy was a fighter
    She cut like Casius Clay
    She burned like a fire
    Despite these rains

    Where time was a question
    She only knew one song
She's singing, "how far, how fast, how long?"

    Salvation is a fire
In the midnight of the soul
It lights up like a can of gasoline

    Yeah, she's a freedom fighter
She's a stand up kind of girl
She's out to start a fire
In a bar code plastic world

    When everything stops moving
And I stop to catch my breath
And ride my train of thought
    All the way round

    My thoughts return to Amy
    And the fire she's begun
She came shen we were freezing
    And left us burning up

“I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running
from one falling star to another till i drop. This is the night, what it does to you.
I had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion.”

The Spirit Of Radio - Rush

    Begin the day
    With a friendly voice
    A companion, unobtrusive
Plays that song that's so elusive
And the magic music makes your morning mood

    Off on your way
    Hit the open road
There is magic at your fingers
    For the Spirit ever lingers
    Undemanding contact
    In your happy solitude

    Invisible airways
    Crackle with life
    Bright antennae bristle
    With the energy
    Emotional feedback
    On a timeless wavelength
    Bearing a gift beyond price--
    Almost free

    All this machinery
    Making modern music
    Can still be open-hearted
    Not so coldly charted
    It's really just a question
    Of your honesty
    One likes to believe
    In the freedom of music
    But glittering prizes
    And endless compromises
    Shatter the illusion
    of integrity, yeah

    Invisible airways
    Crackle with life
    Bright antennae bristle
    With the energy
    Emotional feedback
    On a timeless wavelength
    Bearing a gift beyond price--
    Almost free

"For the words of the profits
Are written on the studio wall,
    Concert hall-
    Echoes with the sounds...
    Of salesmen. Of salesmen.
    Of salesmen!"

It's All How You Look At It - Tracey Lawrence ( A GREAT SONG!)

A little boy on a big jet plane
Taking off in the pouring rain
They're bouncin' 'round like a basketball
He says 'Mama what if we fall?'
She looks in those big scared eyes
And says 'Just think of it like a circus ride'
Next thing you know he's laughing out loud
Saying 'Do it again' as the wheels touch down

I guess it's all how you look at it
You might see more than the side that you're seeing
Turn it upside down and shake it up a bit
It could be a good thing It's all how you look at it

    Businessman playing air guitar
He always dreamed he'd be a superstar
Quits his job and starts singing at night
Is he giving up his living or taking back his life?

I guess it's all how you look at it
You might be more than the side that you're seeing
Turn it upside down and shake it up a bit
It could be a good thing
It's all how you look at it

You've got your opinions and I've got mine
Can we agree to agree at least some of the time?
A glass half empty is a glass haf full
And that's what makes life beautiful

I guess it's all how you look at it
You might be more than the side that you're seeing
Turn it upside down and shake it up a bit It cold be a goo thing
It's all how you look at it
All how you look at it

You might be more than the side taht you're seeing
Turn it upside downa nd shake it up a bit
It could be a good thing
It's all how you look at it
