I don't mean to overwhelm with more pictures but I have a few cute ones from today when the pups got a bath I thought I'd share. Here they are! Tasha went first.

Tommy during his bath:
After he was done. "Freedom!"
LOL, he was rubbing his face on the grass and then just overshot himself and flipped his whole body over.
He suddenly seemed to realize he had been running around without a log
Both of them waiting to go back in
That's all. Hope you liked.

LOL!!! what great pictures!!! Looks like they had fun! Thanks for sharing!
Cute!! I've never given Holly a bath outside, usually inside in the bathtub. I wonder how she would like that outside, or if the water from the hose would be too cold for her. It sure would be much easier outside, that way I wouldn't have to clean out the tub afterwards.
I loved your pictures, your dogs are beautiful and the flowers in the background of that one of Tasha are gorgeous!!! And Tommy and his log continue to crack me up, it's so cute!!
They sure do have their "apres bain" routines down pat, don't they Jess??? I love the shot of Tasha you mentioned...awww, what a sweet face And Tommy, you had me worried there for a minute! Glad to see your log safely back in your mouth! Great shots Jess!

What great pics! I love the closeup of Tasha running. She is such a sweet dog. Tommy with his logs.........what a character! That thing is huge. I would love to take a trip across the U.S. and stop at all the PT dog's houses. What fun that would be. I would dearly love to see yours in "furson"

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Thanks all! They were so good for their baths . Holly's mom, what I generally do is wait for a day when it's around 80 degrees at least, wait till about midday. The hose was in the sun so much by that time that the water coming out was warm, but not hot. I did Tasha first because she gets cold easier. By the time I did Tommy the water was starting to feel pretty cold but he seems unfazed by that and he was also panting by then from being in the sun running around while I bathed Tasha. I think sporting breeds that have a heritage of swimming in creeks and lakes seem to have a higher tolerance for cold water too. As long as it's around 80 with sun shining they've never shown any signs of getting cold with an outdoor bath, and I find it much easier than doing it in the tub!
Val, that log he has in these pictures is that same huge one that I posted about before. What is funny is David decided that was just too much, and he took it back to the wood pile and put a couple other logs on top of it, left Tommy's smaller logs by the house. Well Tommy wasn't satisfied with that, a few days later out to the woodpile he went and pawed the other logs away and picked up his humongous one again and brought it back up to the house. Even though he has to work to pick that huge thing up, sometimes dropping it a few times before he gets a good grip, that is his log of choice.
Glad you all enjoyed the pictures!

Hehe no, he always brings them all the way up to the door, but he knows when the door opens he has to drop it . I can always tell when he REALLY wants to go inside, because he will go stand in front of the door and put his log down and look at me.Originally posted by cocker_luva

Oh I love this pic:
That Tommy kills me with that log. You gotta send him over to play with Oz and Gully. They would just love him.
