Hi guys! Welcome to Elvis and JD's home! Come on in!
We live in an apartment in Queens, NY.

Here's the entrance hallway, as you come through the door:



Directly to the left is the kitchen:


It's one of those long and narrow kitchens.




When you come out of the kitchen, you pass this little niche into the dining room area. On the very bottom shelf, I have a pic of my sweet little Charlie, who is no longer with us.



My dining room table is the official drop off station when I get home. I keep asking the kitties to do me a favor and straighten it up for me, but every night when I return from work, it's still a mess. I think I may have to actually tackle this mess myself.

Back through the dining room to "the orange hall". I just recently painted in here, so the walls are still bare. I plan to hang pics of family and friends in here. Please ignore the black stuff on the floor. It's carpet glue, which apparently isn't coming out without a good sanding!



First door to the left is the bathroom:

I know that orange line isn't straight, but we have a lot of lovely wires up and down the corners of our NY apartments, and I followed the line of the wire. *shrugs*

Unfortunately because I am on dial up I cannot see many of the photos in these threads, because there are just too many and it will take about two hours to load them all. Is there any other way I can see the photos? Can you post them as links so I can click on them, so that those with slow connections can see the photos too? I really want to see them LOL!

To the left is a closet, straight ahead is the guest room:



...And to the right is my room, but I'm not going to show you too much, cause it's a mess. I have been clearing out closets and stuff, so you can imagine. I want to paint in here soon, and of course, take care of that peeling paint above the windows.

WOW no wonder I couldn't load the photos, they are HUGE! Next time you post photos, can you resize them smaller so they can load faster? They are very big. I was finally able to see them. I closed MSN and started IE. Your house is LOVELY! Now that I am back to work perhaps I can add a little something cute to my home as well. I love all your decorations. Very nice. I especially loved the photo of the kitter cats with Yertle in the tub, and the water movements from lapping.

You have a very nice home. I love all of your earthy accents... pillows, pottery, candles, etc. Do you ever go to Pier 1 ... I bet you would LOVE that store!
