    toenails - is this weird?

    Hi,

I have two dogs that are nine years old. My friend and I were walking our dogs today and he was telling me about cutting their nails last night. I haven't even thought about it in so long until he mentioned it, but I haven't cut either of mine's nails in about six or seven years! No kidding. And niether of them need them done. Is this normal, did I get lucky, or am I missing something?

Some dogs (and owners!) are lucky... The nails are kept naturally short by the excercise and such and never have to be cut. Or they're like my Chloe who bites her nails... just like her mom! Then there are the dogs that need to be clipped every week because they're so long. Count yourself lucky!
