I have not posted many (if any) pictures since changing to Photobucket. I want to make sure I can send a picture before asking if someone will make me a new signature.

If it turns out, it will be Beau on the couch.

much better.. still, i have been using photobucket now and prefer it - i resize everything to 500 pixels and keep the ratio...here is a sample -sorry no caps but princess emily is in my lap..do you copy the entire bottom info under img? - it includes the img brackets and all...example here...

i see the pic you first posted from photobucket is a thumbnail and that is why it is so samall ...ack...emily is cramping my typing but i dare not move the princess

here we go again..in photobucket - you do not get the properties like in imagestation ---look under the pic and there are three options, url, tag and img...copy everything from img and paste that to get a full sized img and you do not even have to use tag brackets - it is done for you emily arghhh

This is how big mine come out in photobucket when I copy and paste the IMG


It's REALLY big - I'm sure it must be a pain for PTérs with slow connections! BUT Photobucket allows direct linking, and it's only a matter of time before I get into trouble on Imagestation for direct linking!!

I don't know how to re-size in Photobucket - can you help???

I use photobucket and I resize before I upload my pictures. Whatever program opens your pictures should have a resizing option. I shrink mine to about 35-40% of the original.

hmmm..that's big Julie - I resize all of mine to 500 pixels in width and then adjust the ratio to keep proportion - maybe try that? otherwise - photobucket will make everything automatically resized and maybe that "resize" is too large??

So do I need to edit them in a photo program to resize, and THEN upload to Photobucket? I have been doing it the lazy way and uploading straight from my camera.

Oh BTW I got a NEW CAMERA yesterday - It's a TINY Casio Exilim, so I'll be taking loads of pics!!

hmmm..I resize mine and crop them, fix colors etc first in paintshoppro...but....there is an EDIT option in photobucket - you might try that and see what happens??? above the pic is EDIT and then you get an option to RESIZE -75%, 50%, 25% of original but you can't change it once you do it I never tried it but might be worth it on one that you don't care if it messes up?? Mine are about 50% the size of yours....

I was copying the (url) not the (IMG).
Now I'll have to make sure all my pics are the right size.
