    My RB baby Bilbo

I adpoted Bilbo (yes named after Bilbo Baggins!) from a family who was moving to Texas and thought the trip would be too much for him. He was 10 when he came home with me. I had 2 wonderful years with this handsome guy. When you picked him up, he immediately turned to face you and wrapped his arms around your neck and nuzzled your neck. He was the best! At the end, he had gotten a really bad ear infection that despite 3-4 different antibotics and numerous tests and visits to the white coats, terribly damaged his balance. His right front fang had to be extracted beause it had broken off (you can tell in the photo by his cutie crooked mouth! And lastly he could not longer control his bladder and bowels and could hardly get around due to the balance problems. Sadly we had to put him down to relieve his suffering and I had to take off 3 days from work because I was so devistated. Anyway, enough sad stuff, I just wanted to share photo of my sweetie Bilbo with you all. I apologise for the photos I had to scan them. Bilbo have fun at the RB! I can't wait to see you again!

Awwww....Bilbo was adorable! That was so wonderful of you to adopt him at 10 years old, but I can see why you couldn't resist.

Oh my gosh he looks exactly like a Bilbo we had at our Humane Society a few years back. What a coincidence and what a sweetie. You gave him 2 happy and loving years and now he's playing happily at the RB. RIP Bilbo and make lots of friends up there.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

What a precious boy! You served him very well, and showed him love (not abandonment like his first owners) for the two years you had him!!! (((HUGS)))
