    Funky House Cat????

    'Funky house cat' was wild

A woman who rescued what she thought was a 'funky looking house cat' lying stunned on a highway later discovered the animal was a wild bobcat that would have attacked her if it had woken up.

The unidentified rescuer picked up the 20-inch long animal after it had been hit by another vehicle near a state park, says the Santa Cruz Sentinel.

She took it in her car to a nearby animal hospital, where it was correctly identified and operated on.

When she was told what the animal actually was, she replied: "I thought it looked kinda strange."

Bobcats have powerful, muscular bodies, sharp claws, and three-quarter-inch long fangs.

    Sounds like Mr. Magoo!

Twenty inches long doesn't sound so big. Most of my cats are bigger than that. The three quarter inch long fangs sound pretty nasty but other than that it doesn't sound like much more than most of our house kitties. I wonder what made it look strange? Ok, Richard now you have to find a picture of one.
